This is a perfect exhibition of the widely popular Longjing “Dragon Well” tea that serves as a staple in the Chinese tea cabinet.
The young, bright green leaves are lightly oxidized and flattened. The ripe, umami, and nutty aromas are prominent from the dry leaves. As the leaves are steeped and unfurl, the aromas heighten, and a light green brew emerges.
